Agricultural phenotyping can contribute to a more efficient data collection for plant breeders for field operations. ===== Aim and Objectives ===== Currently, it is possible to build 3-D phenotyping box for fast field data acquisition using a Kinect v2 camera, a rotating plate, a shading box, a laptop, and a control system by rotating the plate using the robot operation system (ROS). The objective is to construct a phenotyping box for plant nurseries or breeding companies to track and sample in a fast manner different phenotyping parameters. ===== Qualification and Motivation ===== Basic knowledge of software and strong interest on electronics and mechanics. And passion for building things by yourself.
